Dr. Chad has happily been part of the Animal 911 family as an associate veterinarian. She graduated from Concordia University with a specialization in psychology, where she worked as a research assistant in the animal behavior and neurological laboratory. This experience inspired her to pursue a veterinary degree, a career she has gravitated toward since a young age.
Her road to becoming a veterinarian was anything but traditional; her veterinary school journey took her to several locations such as Calgary, the Cayman Islands, and Georgia. She was very involved in the veterinary school community, where she served as president, vice-president, and representative of nationally recognized associations and various clubs.
Recently, she has taken a special interest in hospice and palliative care and is working very hard with her best friend and colleague Courtney to implement a program at Animal 911 soon. She has two dogs and two cats, whom she's rescued over the years.
In her spare time, she enjoys a balance between being outdoors on the ice rink, hiking, and sailing, as well as being indoors playing board games or binging a TV series. According to her, the Animal 911 work ethic, proficiency, and support remain unmatched, and she is very eager to care for you and your beloved pets!
