Do pets need parasite control and prevention all year long?

Yes. Most people think parasite prevention is only during the summer, but fleas and ticks control need to be considered throughout the year. Flea can survive even during the colder times of the year, and if they enter your warm home, adult fleas can multiply. There are multiple kinds of parasite prevention therapies that your pet should be on at any time of the year to make sure they stay healthy. We recommend deworming at least 4 times a year. What are the signs that a pet has fleas, ticks or other parasites?
