The general rule refers to once every 3 months. Your pet should not go more than 3 months without a deworming treatment. Of course, this fact may vary depending on which stage of his life your pet is. For example, as a puppy, your pet should be dewormed every 2 weeks until he reaches 8 weeks, then once when they are 12 weeks old, and then the 3-month rule applies. Your veterinarian may recommend more frequent deworming treatments depending on your pet’s health condition.
